♦In the chemistry laboratory,green organic syntheses are done under solvent-free conditions in microwave oven.
♦Introduced eco-friendly micro scale experiments in organic analysis to reduce time consumption and to minimize the usage of chemicals.
♦The waste water from laboratories(washing glasswaren)is channelized to tress thereby increasing ground water level.
♦Rain water collected from the catchment area in the main block is stored in two storage tanks in chemistry laboratory(3000 & 5000 litre capacity).The harvested rain water is demineralised using Ion-exchanger and used as distilled water in science laboratories.
